The COVID-19 pandemic has impacted communities, including the Chairo school community, in unprecedented ways, with so much of what we all took for granted each day being temporarily removed from our lives.
Chairo is committed to continuing to deliver an excellent, Christ-centred education for all students while also prioritising the health and wellbeing of students, families and staff members.
We are thankful that God is in control, and that he loves and cares for each member of the school community. In fact, we are thankful for many things, as expressed in this short video:
Victorian students, including the students at each Chairo campus, have spent much of 2020 engaged in online and remote learning as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic.
With the easing of restrictions, most Chairo students will have returned to onsite face-to-face learning by Monday 12 October, with just those in Years 8 to 9 at the Pakenham Campus still awaiting approval from the state government to return.
It has been a strange and challenging time for students, families and staff members but we are proud of the way in which everyone has sought to do their best in difficult circumstances.
