We are currently seeking the services of a dedicated Receptionist / Administration Assistant to work at our Pakenham Campus. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a caring Christian environment and assist with all aspects of campus reception, as well as providing support for a range of general office administration tasks throughout the week.
Chairo Christian School is a non-denominational Christian school with approximately 1,700 Kinder to Year 12 students attending five picturesque campuses in West and South Gippsland, the Latrobe Valley and the south eastern outskirts of Melbourne.

Jo began working at Chairo in 1997 as a teacher’s assistant. Encouraged by the Principal to study education, Jo became a Chairo primary teacher in 2004 and taught at the Drouin and Drouin East campuses. Today, Jo works in the library at Pakenham and is ‘the most happily contented teacher librarian on the planet’.
Jo explained, ‘I’m passionate about exciting students about books and literature. I also oversee the running of the library; work with teachers on curriculum; order, shelve and critique books; supervise private study and distance education students; make displays; run competitions and oversee Book Week. I’m also studying to complete a Master’s degree’
