Pete attends Community Church Warragul and is married to Val. They live in Warragul and have three sons. Pete has a Bachelor of Arts, Diploma of Education and Master of Educational Leadership, each from Melbourne University.
Pete began at Chairo Drouin in 1995 and mostly taught English, Humanities, Sport and Outdoor Education. In 2009, he joined the Executive Leadership Team as Deputy Principal (Teaching & Learning). From 2013, Pete spent three years as Head of School at Sekolah Pelita Harapan in Sentul City, Indonesia.
Returning to Chairo during 2016, Pete took up the position of Principal at the Pakenham campus in 2017. He was appointed as Executive Principal during 2024. Pete remains passionate about seeing students transformed through Christian education and impacting the world through their capability, character and commitment.
Roger attends Berwick Church of Christ and is married to Leonie. They live in Berwick and have three adult daughters. Roger has a Bachelor of Business and is a FCPA (Fellow Certified Practising Accountant).
Prior to commencing at Chairo, Roger was Business Manager at Bayside Christian College in Langwarrin. When asked why he enjoys working at Chairo, Roger said: ‘I love the opportunity to be part of the Chairo community and to serve with my gifts to help provide excellence in Christ-centred education.’
Roger’s deep hope in working at Chairo is that students and staff members continue to grow in their Christian walk and, as included in our vision statement, ‘to see Christ’s redemptive impact in the world through the capability, character and commitment of our students and staff members’.
Meg attends Warragul Anglican Church and is married to Alan. They live in Warragul and have four daughters, one son-in-law and a grandson. Meg has a Bachelor of Education in Visual Arts and a Master of Clinical Teaching, both from Melbourne University, plus a Graduate Diploma in Careers Education from ACU.
Having commenced at Chairo in 2022 as Head of Teaching & Learning (Drouin), Meg became Principal of our Drouin campuses in 2025. Previously, she served at Mary MacKillop Regional College as Deputy Principal of Wellbeing & Organisation, Head of Learning & Teaching and Careers Coordinator.
Meg is passionate about growing students in their understanding of how they learn and partnering with students and their families to build a culture of aspirational thinkers ready to demonstrate Christ’s love through service.
Amy is married to Dave, and they have two daughters and a son, all of whom attend Chairo. Having relocated from Bairnsdale at the end of 2024, the family is looking forward to establishing themselves in a church community in South Gippsland.
In addition to holding a Bachelor of Education and qualifications in Training & Assessment, Amy has completed the Executive Leadership Program through Arrow Leadership Australia and has governance experience on a Christian school board.
Amy taught at Chairo Drouin and Drouin East from 2009 to 2018, before serving as Assistant Director at Scripture Union’s Camp Coolamatong for more than five years. Amy’s deep hope is for students to develop a transformational understanding of their identity in Christ and embrace a life defined by purpose, service and authentic connection.
Louisa is a member of Drouin Presbyterian Church and is married to Craig. They live in Bunyip and have two adult children. She has a Bachelor of Education (Melbourne) and Master of Education (Leadership) from the National Institute of Christian Education.
After working in various roles at Calvin Christian School in Tasmania, Louisa returned to Victoria, where she led CRE training with Access Ministries and then served as Head of Middle School at King’s College, Warrnambool.
Louisa joined Chairo Pakenham in 2019 and served as Head of Middle School and Head of Senior School before becoming Principal. Her deep hope is that students will learn who Jesus is and what he has done for them, and that they will know where they fit into God’s big plans for the world.
Keryn attends Eternity Church in Morwell. She is married to Eric and they have two adult children. Keryn has a Diploma of Teaching and a Bachelor of Special Education.
Keryn joined Chairo in 2018, but prior to that she was a founding Flinders Christian Community College staff member at the campus. She worked in a range of positions, including Learning Support Coordinator, Head of Teaching & Learning (Junior School) and Head of Primary, before becoming Principal.
Keryn is passionate about exploring and unwrapping the potential of each student and helping them develop a lifelong love for learning. Her deep hope is that families will encounter the love and hope of Jesus Christ at Chairo, and that this transformational love will bring them into a close relationship with their Heavenly Father.
